FUTURE HOME
OF THE BRIDGE!
It was recently announced that The Bridge would be moving to a new and permanent location on Cummings Lane in Washington - previously occupied by Mosquito Joe.
Over the next few months the building and grounds will be updated to better suit our needs and we hope to begin using this new space by November of 2026. Until then, we will continue to meet at Central Primary School in Washington at 10am on Sunday mornings. You can view the original announcement here.

Friday, June 19th, is Pride Night with The Peoria Chiefs. 100% of ticket proceeds support River City Pride Festival. Join The Bridge for a night of baseball, popcorn, and fireworks. Contact Erin Curry at erin_a_curry@yahoo.com to join our group. Tickets $16 each.

YOUTH BIBLE STUDY
6th through 12th graders are invited to join us for a mid-week Bible study. In addition to digging deeper into God's word we'll have spend some time getting to know one another and playing games. As with all youth events, we encourage kids to invite friends!
We'll meet from 6:30-8:00 PM in the youth space at the Bridge office - 401 Walnut ST in Washington. No need to RSVP, just show up as you're able.

BOB: INCUBATOR MEETING
Interested in learning more about BOB? BOB - The Bridge Out of the Building - is an exciting new ministry that's meant to find ways of going out in our community to build relationships and serve.
We're in the very early stages of developing what BOB will be, and will do, and would love to hear your ideas! Each month we'll be holding "incubation" meetings where new ideas will be proposed and considered. If you have ideas on how The Bridge can go out into our community, or if you'd like to be a part of BOB, we would love for you to join us! We meet at 7:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month at the church office - 401 Walnut ST in Washington.

MONTHLY COLLECTION: MANOS JUNTAS
On Sunday July 5th we will be collecting donations to go toward school supplies for children supported by Manos Juntas (Hands Together) - a second school ministry in Merida, Yucatan Mexico will also be supported by these donations. Manos Juntas main mission is in Rio Bravo near Reynosa, Mexico. The missions team is pleased to support their Director, Guillermo "Willie" Berman, and the Manos Juntas mission.
Due to the cost of shipping actual school supplies we will only be collecting cash or checks. The missions team will use that money to purchase the school supplies online to be picked up Manos Juntas at a nearby Walmart.

MISSIONS TEAM MEETING
At The Bridge we actively seek opportunities to support our communities - especially those marginalized and overlooked by society. We feel strongly that it's not only important to give but to do.
If you feel the same and have a desire to be involved we invite you to join us for one of our monthly missions team meetings. We meet from 6:30-7:30(ish) at The Bridge office - 401 Walnut ST in Washington.

WEEKDAY BIBLE STUDY
Join Pastor Tom for our new drop-in Bible study on the Book of Ruth. This study meets weekly on Tuesday mornings from 11:00 - 12:00 at The Bridge office - 401 Walnut Street in Washington. No pressure, no obligation, just pop by on the mornings you can to hear about the Ruth's courageous faith!

BOB: WARM HEART WEDNESDAY
BOB, Bridge Out of the Building, will once again be at WHIP, Washington Helps Its People (so many acronyms!) to pass out coffee and treats to guests who are waiting to shop. BOB will be there on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM and we've dubbed it "Warm Heart Wednesday."
If you'd like to join us in passing out treats and chatting with guests we'd love to have you. This event has been a big success, very rewarding, and seemed to be very much appreciated. No need to register, just show up at WHIP - 1235 Peoria ST in Washington.
